Is the design procedure same for both bolts with nuts and capscrews?

The required torque in bolts with nuts is supplied by rotating the nut, and in capscrew, it is supplied by rotating the screw itself. Many books provide procedure for designing bolts by considering nuts. So, is the procedure different?If different, which is the best source to study about design of capscrew?

Cap screws are generally screwed into a threaded holes (that is typically longer than the height of the (single) nut). This can be considered in (deformation and torque) calculations.
