Dear friends,

it is well known that the total capacitance = surface capacitance + intercalation capacitance (i(V)/v^1/2 = k1 v^1/2+K2) for the composite electrode materials, and the concept necessarily means that upon deconvolution of CV curves as to get the different capacitive contributors using the plot of i/scan rate^1/2 vs scan rate^1/2 , the different contributor need to lie inside the area of CV curve.

but when i carried out the deconvolution the part of the capacitive contribution lie out side the area of CV, can somebody suggest me why it happens so?

please have a look at the results that i have attained, attached herewith
