Now a days due to the surplus supply of business graduates from a large number of private universities in addition to public universities it is seemed to be the access of business graduates in the job market is decreasing especially in the developing countries.
The main driver behind the globalization is the comparative advantage that exists in different countries. Most of the developing nations which are in Asian and African Continents has abundant Human Resources and they are come out into the market with considerable skills and hence they give comparative advantage to the MNCs. But with the emergence of ultra-Nationalism and conservatives in the developed nations who are the major employers they are turning towards their domestic workforce. One other major factor is the lack of competent skills by the workforce in the developing nations and hence there is a decreasing trend in the job market for the business graduates. In the case of Latin America there is still demand for business graduates. The demand for business graduates does not come only from local firms, but also from multinational companies that hire local talent.
There is no shortage of opportunities. One has to identify the right ones.
There is no shortage to access. The main problem is the education system in developing countries which has taught business graduates to be employees instead of preparing them to be employers. Business graduates are to be job creator and not job seekers. They should look at the prevailing problems in their locality as opportunities to create business and therefore create jobs. By doing so, they can increase access for other business graduates. So until we change our perception toward jobs, we will always complain about access of jobs.
