I am new in this field. Just wonder is that possible to manufacture a nonlinear dashpot? as far as I know, we can change the viscosity of damper only so it will change the amplitude but can we change the curve like having a nonlinear relation between force and velocity?

I agree with the answer suggesting Magnetorheological(MR) Fluid dampers. It is probably the simplest approach.
May I ask? currently "Taylor devices" can manufacture nonlinear dampers(with the nonlinear curve). Are these dampers feasible for large structural application? what kind of drawbacks these nonlinear dampers have ? is there any limitation for them or?

I do not have detailed information about Taylor device dampers. I have some experiences about vehicle suspensions. I have checked company web page they produce very large dampers for structures like bridges and building structures. First of all, nobody want to manufacture intentionaly a nonlinear damper. Actually nonlinearity comes from the behaviour of fluid at high loads because the fluid is compressed. Linearity is mostly an advantage in engineering system.
If you study control of such damper you should get first mathematical models. You may make literature survey to get some information about these dampers. It is very important to understand the damper characteristics. If the model of damper is nonlinear you may linearize for some operation points or you should design a nonlinear control.
