Social media is certainly an important media for marketing, where the product information and value proposition can be provided. But the question is that it is only for the people who have accessibility to net. While developed countries have very high degree of net connectivity, the developing and under developed countries do not have similar net connectivity. Hence can we make a generalized statement regarding the efficacy of social media as a prudent marketing/ business strategy?
