Modern theorists have 2 certainties that cannot be neglected if they try to model physical reality:
Non-locality means that everything is influencing everything at exactly the same moment (1). The “result” is known as a continuous transformation of the whole configuration of the universe.
But if we ask “what is changing continuously” it shows that it is the electromagnetic field that represents the observable/detectable changes because it is not only representing the change, it represent also “the power” that causes the change (2). And last but not least, the universal conservation laws (energy and momentum) represent the properties of the electromagnetic field.
Local concentrations of large amounts of energy are the cause behind the decrease of the involved scalars of the Higgs field – creating matter – but these decreased scalars return to their previous static magnitude at the moment the concentration of energy passes on. The same transformation is driving gravity. At the moment we annihilate matter – transforming the matter in “free” energy of the electromagnetic field – the force of gravity disappears. In other words, there is not much left to fantasize about because the rate of change by the electromagnetic field is quantum time and it is a constant everywhere in the universe.
