Me: The extra dimensions are the overtone series permitted by all the other kinds of matter in the systems under test, which includes their resonant frequencies at various volumes and shapes. This is what I call "Symphonic Resonance" and insight is given in my results for fragment resonances at particular Wavelengths and Temperatures, under constraints of L% and E% counts (where E% maps the m of E=mc^2). One might think of this as bulk Huygenian Entrainment. It all relates to all the overtone series that lock in at different Wavelengths and Temperatures throughout C.P. Saylor's 1935 concept of the "Zone of Match", which might better be thought of as the "Regions of Symphonic Resonances".

"So describing this sort of interactivity, if you're going back to the French Horn Model, by simply looking at what is coming out of the bell, you're going to get one small picture, but you have to understand that there is music and interaction that is directly corresponding to the piece that you're hearing in the concert hall, taking place at every point in the French Horn itself." Since an ontological point of view, polarization means -two points of view, or even more! - In this respect electromagnetism, a basic property of the universe, follows this set up. It is well known that there is not a reductionist point of view of the duality of magnetism, in other words there is not a magnetic charge in magnetism, like in electrical charges (electron); that represents just a pole (north or south). However, another representation of an electromagnetic field is the light, and one of its four main properties is polarization (polarization, coherence, wavelength, and intensity). Polarization in light is very complex and is commonly said that an electromagnetic field could has from 0 to 100% of polarization.

Thank you for your reply, including smiling compliment, as well as for the link to information about Brewster's Angle, which led me to a mini-lecture on how to use Brewster's Angle formulaic computations to figure out the light polarization angles from a given source, such as air or diamond, to water or glass, with different values assigned to n. It has been a long time since I studied trigonometry with my accelerated mathematical analysis and calculus teacher Hartley Holte, yet the trigonometric functions, sin, cosine, and tangent are fairly simple vis-a-vis Brewster's Angle, which is an excellent launch for this thread's chosen pathway to finding out if polarization is a basic principle in the universe---Best regards.

Thank you for your clear and concise statement of a complex topic. And the electromagnetic field theory is one of my current interests!

One must also contend with the theory circular polarization in free space; see, for instance:

The light I have used in my studies of RIs displayed by powders of minerals and rocks has always been plane-polarized by a substage filter. What happens to subsequent light rays resonating through the powders suspended in liquids is a matter of refraction and reflection resonances beyond my direct measurement capabilities. But the question as to how particles might be held in alignments such as to reduce frictional heat during light transmittance seems to be worthy at least of contemplation, whether one consider particles in liquids or in free space; especially given the possibilities of a structured vacuum or ether . I do not claim to be an expert in the many fields related to my work, which has to date been strictly focused upon gathering and mapping RI data. But Nancy's question is certainly an interesting one. The Yin/Yang perspective on polarity seems to be well exemplified by Haramein's toroidal-Universe model.
