How can we measure what? Personal life problems, or work productivity? It is easy to come up with uncountable ways to measure it depending on which information/data you have available.
Indeed personal life problems employees effects their productivity in professional life. I am agree with Sir Ghassan we can take personal life problems as an independent variable and productivity as dependent variable.
Definitely, the personal problems of workers negatively exert a toll on their work performance. Thinking of emotionally related personal problems by workers suck quality productive time at workplaces and minimizes production output.
