Among spinel type oxides, cobaltites (Co3O4 and NiCo2O4 spinel oxides), have received great interest, since the seventy of the last century, owing to their use in many industrial applications. These compounds are the most studied ones as oxygen anode and cathode for which promising activity and stability have been demonstrated in alkaline media. IN ACIDIC MEDIA, THESE OXIDE MATERIALS ARE NOT STABLE.
