Availability of so many Free/inexpensive VPN can be threat to security & privacy. What is the reliability that data will not be compromised when VPN provider can encrypt & decrypt the data? Now the service provider have all the data passing through on their platform so threat to security & privacy is increased.
The VPN connection is supposed to protect your browsing activity from any kind ofthird-party monitoring. However, with many free VPN apps, it is found that the service providers might monitor your browsing activity while you use their app. So, at this point, the VPN connection is not free from third-party monitoring.
