For example you have a question posted here in RG long time ago and nobody answered, but there are several views and some followers. And now you have the answer to your very own question. Will you post your answer?
I would post the answer because I always check these question to gain knowledge or to confirm my knowledge. Having a few followers also indicate that these followers would benefit from your answer.
It's not ridiculous at all, to answer our own questions on RG. It may seem that those who ask questions are seeking answers from the 'expert, experience researchers'. But on RG, we are all learning from one another. So go ahead and post. Thanks.
I don't think so. Actually, put own thought to the question leads the discussion as told by Mohamed A Yassin. Also, it solves some misunderstanding about the question. Sometimes, it is required to clarify some point raised during the discussion. So, its becomes necessary to the questioner to put his comment about the raised point. Further, it make the question more simple and clear.
Think is fine to answer your own question in RG. It was a snap shot of time we asked question in RG because we didn't know / were not sure about the answer. As time passed by we gained new knowledge, artifacts, ideas, inspirations etc., we can pose our answer for sharing / brainstorming with other RG members. Bottom line is we want knowledge sharing / learning takes place.
