Is it proper for me to use the ADDIE model to conduct a quantitative research related to the effect of MALL in EFL on students' receptive skills?

After consulting to the related papers, I have figured out that all the related studies chose qualitative method. What if I chose quantitative method? Is it still Ok for me to use the ADDIE model to conduct a quantitative research related to the effect of MALL in EFL on students' receptive skills? Could you please recommend some relevant papers.
