An iPhone not only has a camera, but can measure orientation, and it also contains an accelerometer. Is there a clever way to exploit an iPhone to perform a weight measurement? How to do it in the most elegant way with as few as possible externalities added?

Objects of different weight have the same acceleration, but if you jump up and down are there some nonlinear end effects that can be exploited? With some minimum externality (eg. a trampoline) could we measure a resonance and would this help?
