Consider the case of a WR-90 rectangular waveguide (a = 22.86 mm, b = 10.16 mm). If I want to see the fields etc. for say the TE02 mode in CST MWS is it possible to simulate it in particular?

Note that the TE02 mode for this waveguide is the 12th mode in ascending order of cutoff frequency! This means that if I want to see this mode then I need to simulate 12 modes at each port (by changing the number of modes to 12 in place of 3 in Port Properties as shown in the figure below) which is time-consuming and also unnecessary. The above is based on the fact that CST calculates the modes in ascending order of cutoff frequency apparently (Mode 1 has lowest fc, then Mode 2 and so on).

Is there any way to solve this problem? Any thoughts on this would be very helpful.

Take care and stay safe,

Arka.
