I have data that was gathered using a survey in 2012. At that time I was a master's student with no research experience and I didn't know that the results of my master's project were worth publishing. I know now that the data is worth publishing.
However, the data is 10 years old! Is it still worth publishing? What do you think?

If the reasults are still new to the science, it is better to be published, otherwise not!.
If your research is still relevant, novel and time insensitive, then you may proceed with the data collected in 2012.
The relevance depends less on the age of your data than on the quality of your questioning. Evidently, you can still analyse older data, but your research questions should correspond to nowadays criteria and interests.

Publishing shd not be delayed in that case
Yes, if the research findings are still relevant for academia and industrial practioners and limited research is published in that field and your paper will fill prevailing gap and add to the existing literature in the field
