Hello everyone. Since quitting my job recently, I am not associated with a University or Institution. However, I am still working on my research papers and articles and would love to publish them. Is there a way that allows me to publish these papers without any university affiliation?

Yes. It is possible. My research supervisor retired from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He reactivated his research work after a gap of few years. He published more than 10 papers after retirement in peer reviewed journals. He mentioned in brackets the word 'Retired' after his name and mentioned the name of the institute where he worked last.
Yes, this is a tricky question... I was on faculty at Boston University... but once moved to Boulder... did not have that Academic connection.... so started my own Consulting firm & named it Rocky Mountain Research..... Recently published in strong Peer Review Journal... and they did want my company license etc..... so strict but creative ways to deal with that lack of Institutional backing...

Yes, as an independent researcher it is possible to publish in reputed journals without an affiliation. So long as it passes muster of the reviewers and the person has reputation of publishing in the past I don't see a problem.
