In the old versions of SuperDecisions https://www.superdecisions.com/ it was not possible to directly adopt fuzzy numbers on SuperDecisions, but it was possible to implement fuzzy models.
How?
It was based on fuzzification and defuzzification stages.
You could build your fuzzy models as such that your fuzzification and defuzzification could be calculated on some other tools such as spreadsheet tools. After your defuzzification you could use SuperDecisions for ANP.
That was a good approach.
Why?
Because you gained the benefits of fuzzy modeling without any computational difficulty and information lost.
I have never compared the different models of defuzzification step.
Its comparison will be a great contribution to literature.
Similar approach for grey models too.
Also similar issues in all other decision making methods too.
As far as I see on the webpage in the current version of SuperDecisions https://www.superdecisions.com/, there is still not any tool to add your code so that it is still impossible to add fuzzy directly. I have not downloaded and used the new version.
Please think if you need fuzzy modeling for your problems. Sometimes it is good sometimes not necessary, but good to study of course.
