However, the criterion of 80-year and older would be selective, One thing you could include is to report any potential bias using the assessment of the bias of the studies. Also, you might want to polish your question as the description is not clear to the community.
Random sampling is not the same as random assignment. You can certainly have one without the other.
For sampling you can use Stratified Sampling Method, if it will convinent to you
