Is it possible to have an increasing BJH cumulative surface area but a decreasing BJH cumulative pore volume after some sample treatments?

I subjected a sample to some treatments and gas adsorption test results show an increasing BJH cumulative surface area but a decreasing BJH cumulative pore volume. The BET surface area, the micropore area and micorpore volume increased. Is this the right trend? If not, what could be the reason for this trend?

Any published data on this will be appreciated.
