I am planning to investigate the biological attachment and making a sensing tools using the liquid crystals through CV method. Could you suggest me to find an alternative way like PL, UV-Vis etc which would better for solving the matter?
Dear Tapan, Good morning. if I understood your point, it may nano particle size dependent bonding with biological system and its electrical response. The size of nano particle determines its electro and opto-catalytic properties. Usually that size can be measured by using theta-2 theta XRD analysis but more precisely it can be done using PL analysis.
In PL analysis further the peaks FWHM determines trends of electrical charges accumulation or its surface electrostatic energy that can support to sharp sense/response for that particular band of frequency application as input signal. It is very useful for sensing purposes.
