Is it possible to freeze dry the o/w nanoemulsion nanodroplets and is there a method to dry nanoemulsion of essential oil?

Since the dispersant is always water, in oil in water nanoemulsion, when water is dried out, the system is no longer an emulsion. One will be left with the solubilized active principle in oil.
