I would like to perform building simulation under future climate. The time interval of the most detailed GCMs is every six hours. Is it possible to derive hourly weather data from GCMs using RCM (RegCM)? Thank you.

They have recently added CMIP6 data, but for now you can use only MPI-ESM1-2-HR model. I think in the near future they will add other CMIP6 models. In following link you can find a bash script for download MPI-ESM1-2-HR data:

I am not familiar with the other RCM models. However, with RegCM you can have nice output for your area. You just need to select suitable schemes (model physics).
By default RegCM uses BATS and hydrostatic core (MM4). I recommend you to use CLM4.5 and NON hydrostatic core (MM5).
