Design and fabrication of dual function photovoltaic pannel used for electrical energy generation and thermal heating of fluid like solar water heater and solar air heater. If such pannel is possible than it is very helpful in future research work on solar energy utilisation.

Yes, it is possible to design and implement a PV panel/s with a thermal solar collector. In such case you can get electrical power and head gain which you can utilize it as per request. These systems are so called PV/T solar systems. They may be classified according to many criteria such as the working fluid or configuration..etc. A lot of work were conducted on these systems.

You can use CPV/T system which is consisted of a photovoltaic and a nonimaging concentrator (V-trough or CPC). The concentrator will heat the photovoltaic but using a cooling fluid (can be water) you can remove the heat to protect the photovoltaic from damaging and to use this heat for domestic uses such as heating, warming and so on.
Yes, there is already such panels which can generating electrical as well as thermal energy at the same time such as PV/T and CPV/T .
