I will need to use an Electropenetrography (EPG) device (aka electrical penetration graph) to monitor aphid feeding activities.

The prices for such devices are quite high and I wonder if it is possible to self-build an EPG? If so, does anyone know how to proceed?

Another option: if we can borrow an existing EPG from a lab for a couple of months, it would be amazing (University of Wisconsin, La Crosse).
