Crimes against humanity is considered the most heinous forms of atrocities committed against individuals in Bangladesh Liberation
war in1971,there was no doubt. However the problem raised when the International Crimes Tribunal,Bangladesh reemerged in 2009,after almost 40 years of the atrocities took place. The definition of the specific crimes in question neither reflected the IMT Nuremberg requirement, nor admitted the latest development,i.e. the 'widespread and Systematic' that crystallized by the jurisprudence of ICTY and ICTR and finally confirmed by the adoption of Rome statute. For your information,Bangladesh is the state party to Rome statute.
