Now I need to design a transfer function for my bioreactor. The controllable parameters pH, DO, Speed, Temperature available in the system. I need to control all the parameters.
Is it possible to add more parameters within a single transfer function?
If yes, Then how i control the parameters separately?

The KLa mass transfer coefficient chiefly determines the dissolved oxygen concentration (DO) of the aerobic fermenter. The air to fermenter's media mass-transfer rate of oxygen (Na) should be dependent on the local oxygen deficit: Na = KLa·(Cs-C). Here, Cs is the DO that would apply for saturation of the fermenter's broth and C is the measured DO. A mean concentration difference can be defined (ΔCm) after accepting some convenient mixing model, so that: KLa = OTR / ΔCm, where OTR stands for oxygen transfer rate. Both agitation and the air flow rate should contribute for KLa, what can be translated by the usual KLa correlation. The recursive least squares (RLS) algorithm can be selected to estimate of the KLa correlation parameters. This information may be applied to adaptive control of DO in aerobic fermenters. Such a modelling-based approach implicitly takes into account other variables that may influence KLa; including temperature (T) or pH, which may be independently controlled.
