Hi every one. I need free geostationary data (TIR band) in a particular period (e.g. December 2003, ) . Is it possible to access to this data? Can anyone introduce any websites to access to them? Thank you for your help.

If you want precise live-time weather information simply type GOES in the Google finder, and there you will see all sort of worldwide weather maps, in plain view, infra-red and water-vapour conditions, even one-day animations. I always consult those maps, especially those of the Caribeean Region and North Atlantic in which my country, Venezuela, is located.

The EUMETSAT system/site hosts many satellite data, including the ones from Meteosat Second Generation (MSG) which provides also TIR bands.
