I am not sure if in nanomaterials can appear a new Raman mode and therefore a new Raman peak in the corresponding Raman spectra while this mode does not exist in the bulk material. Or if only a shift in the raman peak will occur regarding to the bulk material.
Presence and absence of Raman peaks in any material (including nano) depend on a lot of factors (band origin, symmetry, polarization, quantum interference, etc). That's why it is hard to answer your question if you don't specify, what your material is and the conditions with which you acquire your spectra.

It is quite common to observe additional/extra modes/peaks in the Raman spectrum of nanomaterials. The additional peaks are generally attributed to the presence of Defects generated in nanomaterials based on the synthesis conditions. In addition, the quantum phonon confinement at nano dimension will lead to peak broadening.
Thanks for your answer Mohamed Naji. My material is a glass ceramic, being the main crystalllization a calcium feldspar. I have a micro and a nanostructuration in the material and I´m not sure if this nanostructuration can have a Raman mode which isn´t allowed in the micronanostructured zone, but the material is the same in both cases.
