For example SLA (Specific Leaf Area) and biomass allocated to leaves have different responses to light condition at different ages.
In other hand, in smaller trees, SLA decreased by increasing light availability but in bigger ones, it increased by increasing light availability.

Yes it happens. Age groups of a particular species have been made by many researchers using the spectral responses of vegetation from both ground and airborne sensors. This becomes possible only due to differences in spectral responses. LAI plays an important role in this phenomenon. La Porta N publications are worth to study.

For Example, Prunus serotina shows a differential response to light intensity in relation to its development stage, i.e. the species is heliophilous at the seedling stage and becomes a shade plant at the sapling stage. I think so many references are available in the form of published article which focused on this issue. From my personal experience I can say Dipterocarpus turbinatus requires shade in their initial (seedling) stage and later they become light demanding. Probably almost all the climax species do the same.

We haven't analysed the impact of light conditions on trees but our experience is about climate variables effect on growth of one tree specie (Prosopis caldenia) of different ages using dendrochroological methodology and there is a clear different response between old and young trees.
Yes it is. Saplings of trees, such as oak, maple and other, are less demanding to light than mature trees. When seedlings grow in the forest with less light, than it need, they grow old and die. They do not grow to normal size, and do not give seeds. In Russia, such studies have been conducted, but they have been published in Russian.
An important aspect of the problem you raise is that there can be large changes in leaf traits with tree size and age that are independent of light conditions. If one wanted to rigorously demonstrate age-dependent changes in phenotypic plasticity responses, the underlying ontogenetic trends would need to be accounted for. Also, large reproductive trees may show changes in leaf traits that arise from reproductive allocation effects.

Many species are tolerant in the juvenile phase and heliophyle in the adult phase in tropical and subtropical zones.
Yes, many trees need more lights in the early (seedling) stage of development than when they are matured. But others also need more light in the adolescent stage even than the seedling stage. However, it should be noted that land topography, the species or genotypes of trees involved, climate conditions of the area among other factors are forces to reckon with in such studies. It is not only possible but very likely. Almost all tree species show a progression after seed germination from a juvenile to a mature phase, visually characterized by morphological features and the onset of sexual reproduction. In the juvenile phase, leaves are almost always thinner, adapting seedlings to growing in lower light intensities than what older trees need. Superimposed upon the progression are influences of light regime on morphology and photosynthetic properties of the leaves.
I agree with most of the opinions ( and sustain with papers) that were sent. This situacion sometime make some confuse about the clasification of some especies to their response to light , and is necesary to refere it to the juveniel stage , because it is important for the renegeneration proces and sucesional stages, in diverse forests .

Yes, many tropical trees of dipterocarp family exhibit different light response at seedlings and sapling stage. At seedling stage, lower light intensity is needed compared to sapling stage. That why line-planting under partial shade is recommended for establishing dipterocarps in Malaysia.
yes ,the broad leaves in Caspian sea zone in Iran for example Beech trees have different light response at seedling and sapling stage. The seedling stage don't need light but sapling stage can resistance to full light.
