The objective is to evaluate the impact of my treatment in animals subjected to MCAO model (cerebral ischemia). Do you think the three evaluations on the same day is a problem?
Be careful with false negative results as mice will simply be too much stressed to perform in these three consecutive tests on a single day.
Our rule is that stress free, playful happy mice will give reliable results.
I agree with Antonio Fidalgo, according to the group size and number of groups you need to see if those tests can be carried out the same day, if the group is small and you have everything ready, I guess you can do it. Lakshman Puli has an important point because doing the three tests the same day will be easier if the mice are not stressed, familiarized with the environment where the tests are going to take place and handled constantly. The nicer you treat your mice, the better results you will get.
