I have been recording voltage gated sodium and potassium currents for comparison between different drug groups for half a year, and it recently occurs to me that someone mentioned that I might need to subtract leak current. Since it has been a lot of effort so far, and I did search a lot of papers, and it looks like a lot of them did not mention p/n subtraction in their publications. I'm wondering whether it will okay without doing this subtraction? Or I have to redo all of the experiments no matter what? Or is there any way that I can try to still reanalyze the current data and try to save them?

Thank you so much!
