Dear Muhammmad Hashim Khan ! There are only two options. The first option, the electrode simply records the oxidation potential of the least strong oxidizing agent in the solution. In the second option, the electrode itself actively participates in the reaction as a catalyst and can then show greater potential than in the first case. There will be no dancing.
Muhammmad Hashim Khan Nature selects for lower oxidation potential. If the electrode is not catalytically active, the potential will not change.
