According to CNN, the United States of America has approved the commercial sale of lab grown meat. The idea is plausible but ethically, is it right to consume such meat?
As an individual, will you feel offended if you are served cultivated or lab grown meat (uninformed or unknowingly) in an eatery that you use to patronize before?
What will be your reaction?
To sue them, I presume.......hahahaha!!! Or you will just sit back & enjoy your meal?

If someone were served lab-grown meat without being informed, their reaction could vary. Personally I might not have any issue with it and simply enjoy their meal, while others might feel deceived or have concerns about the unknown health effects. Whether legal action is taken would depend on the specific circumstances, local laws, and the individual's personal values and beliefs.
In laboratory meat cultivation, there is no need to use growth hormone and it makes the final product, unlike normal meat, without hormones and therefore healthy. In addition, 80% of the antibiotics produced in the world are used for animal health, which has increased antibiotic resistance in humans.
Laboratory meat is much healthier compared to conventional meat and it can be engineered to have a lower fat content or replace its unsaturated fats with healthy fats such as omega-3.
By adding factors to the culture medium, certain types of vitamins can be added to artificial meat, and at the same time, there is no limit to its greed and taste.
Also, it is possible to control the quality and health of these meats in order to be free from all kinds of parasites and common diseases between humans and animals, compared to animal meat, it is much more, easier and cheaper.
Thank you @Fatemeh Gharahdaghigharahtappeh and @Sachin Kumar for the insightful information provided about the topic. In as much as I agree totally with all the points raised by these erudite scholars, I still think it is too early to certify lab grown meat as being 100% safe.
The reason is that consumption of processed or chemically treated foods happens to be one of the major cause of cancer and heart related aliments. These ailments don't just pop up overnight. They accumulate in the body & produce symptoms which are very lethal, if they are not diagnosed early.
I still think lab grown meats should be restricted to feeding pets only, so that furthers observations and improvements can be done, maybe within the next 3-5 years (since the life span of pets and lab animals are far more shorter than that of humans), before humans are allowed to consume it.
