I went through many research papers as a reader and a few as a reviewer. I prefer & suggest keyword to be arranged alphabetically in research paper. I wounder what either a celebrated publishing houses lay a standardized, or a matter of opinion. Your opinions are appreciated in advance.

Its a matter of editor discretion. The keywords convey the same, whatever might be their arrangement
Wouldn't the search engines find the particular key word regardless of whether they are entered into the academic website in a non-alphabetical order? I'm suggest the key word is not for human consumption, more for the benefit of the computer searching. I could be wrong though...
I have worked as an editorial board member and editor of a scientific journal for over thirty yrs, key words are usually three or four enough to mention, and we found no need for that arrangement. Thank.

Dear Mohammed Albaroot thanks for posting this interesting question which is certainly of more general interest. In any case I would suggest to carefully read the "Instructions for Authors" issued by the respective journal. Journals in our field of research (chemistry) often require 5 keywords. It absolutely doesn't matter if they are listed in alphabetical order or begin with capital letters. What is really important is that they are KEYwords, which means that they characterize the essence of the work and make the article easy to find. My suggestion would be to just check the latest issue of the journal to see how this in handled.

Interesting question. As an editor and from a methodological point of view the keywords should be listed according to the structure of the work. First one should be the main area of the research and the others should follow the deductive approach.
It is not necessary to arrange keywords in alphabetical order and capitalise each word. Some journals may however require that and so be it .
Mostly it's \not necessary. However if a journal template suggest you to arrange alphabetically then it is preferred.
