Reading is a process. Children can develop other supportive habilities attending school before the age of six, which will make it easier for them to acquire readingskills.

Everybody should have childhood memories with parents and similar aged friends - it is my personal feeling.
As per the present system of education junior & senior kg system started for the child & after completion of KG class the child enters for primary stage which standard 1 where he learning process starts .
For every student differs from students to students it depend on family atmosphere & the development of the parents .Even though the question is not relating topics but we all have noticed or observe that certain students are born with intelligence of high magnitude & the progress can become in the line with higher education .

Not at all. But by reading I hope you must mean the identification of letters and decoding words and sentences. It may not always mean comprehension of what they read which increasingly comes later.
5/6-years, in general, are entitled to begin to learn to read. Brilliant children can begin to learn to read even when they are younger. There are a lot of factors that affect children´s ability to read.

5 years old is the most sensitive age for learning. My Dad read books to me and I learned reading at the age of 5 without teaching. I taught my sons to read, and they started reading earlier.I ran after the teachers and asked them for taking me to school, but it was forbidden in my childhood. I had wasted 2 years! Nowadays I see, that the children in their 5 are very talented, they learn to read with pleasure- surely in game.
In many instances i met 5-years old represent a good stage to start education.
Age shouldn’t be the defining factor for learning this or any other skill, so keep your individual child’s development in mind when you choose when to teach them. You might be pleasantly surprised that your kids are ready to do much more at an earlier age than you thought if you give them a chance. I think so it's now 5 years.
