Is II stage (Ficat classification) of femoral head osteonecrosis indicated for core decompression or not?

The results are very controversial. Some authors add a stage IIa where the core decompression is not efficient at all. What is your experience and long-term results ?

As per my view and personal experience decompression must b tried. I do infilterate whole bone marrow or PRP in addition. Though v can nt b sure about reversal but atleast process will b slowed down leading to delayed reconstructiob
