Many developing countries utilize various multiple methods for power generation. such as gas and oil turbine, windmill, thermal, nuclear, and hydroelectric depends on topography and natural resources.
I thought that Lebanon does not have hydroelectric power stations. But by searching in the web I found that Lebanon has hydropower stations. However these stations are relatively small in the order of 100 Mw.

Hydropower is the most established renewable energy resource in Lebanon but contributes only to around 4.5% of the energy mix with a nominal capacity of around 280 MW. Lebanon is currently looking to expand hydropower and its role within the country's energy mix. However, according to Dr. Kinab, an engineering professor at the Lebanese University and renewable energy expert, explains hydraulic energy production has largely been inconsistent due to intermittent rainfalls and poor maintenance.
