How will be the future of HFT in India? Will it break barriers and make it more accessible to individual traders as well? Can integration with AI make this possible?
Integration of AI is a strategy usually suggested for the massive data which is commonly available with largest supplier chains but if there is a collective chain of small retail traders are assembled into a guild it will be leaded towards the massive dataset to which AI can be implemented but to implement this the ecosystem data should be preprogrammed to the AI Model like the model should be able to grasp the complete ecosystem by ensuring that the eco system is under the vision of the model hyperparameters
High Frequency Trading (HFT) is gradually emerging in India’s financial markets, but remains dominated by institutional players due to infrastructure and regulatory limitations; however, integrating AI and machine learning could lower the barrier for retail investors by enhancing signal generation, risk management, and trade execution efficiency.
Chuck A Arize Thanks for the inputs. Agree with your point, if we look into the evolution of the trading from 1980s to 2020s i.e. from manual, electronic, algorithmic trading we can definitely look forward for the HFT to be reachable for inidividual in near future...! As technology evolves there shall be amendments in regulations as well..!
