I have been consulting the 2005 edition of Wittgenstein: Understanding and Meaning, originally published in 1980 by G.P. Baker and P.M.S. Hacker.
The number by number in depth exegesis of Dr. Hacker has helped me clear up doubts about obscure passages in the Investigations, but is the book widely recognized in the scientific community?
Hacker, philosopher, has specialized on Wittgenstein - with more than only book or comment. Surely is he one of the well-known performers in this field but this is should be not the only source for own understanding of Wittgenstein. There also exists a) the own concept of valuation of Wittgenstein's writings, b) other views of Wittgenstein by other philosophers, who are rather spread out in the world within the last 80 years.
