For conduction of electricity, electrons are drifting through the electrically conducting material. Due to electrostatic attractive force, the drift velocity is very slow. Inert gas atom as a whole may drift faster if enough inter-atom space is available in a material. Is it possible to transmit inert gas atoms through a selected special conducting wire? Regards.

I read only hydrogen through steel. That is a problem for hydrogen car builders.
You can store hundreds of bars pressure of any gas in a steel container.
The only way to make them going through a conducting wire is to accelerate to some megaelectronvolts and throw again it in a destructive matter
