I would consider it to be legitimate as it is listed in Pubmed. The impact factor is between 1.0 and 2.0 currently.

The ‘impact factor’ of 1.15 is fake (https://www.citefactor.org/impact-factor/impact-factor-of-journal-Cureus.php). It is called CiteFactor which is a well-known example of a misleading metric, see for more info about this: https://beallslist.net/misleading-metrics/

The journal is (still) indexed in ESCI (so no impact factor) and looking at the new metrics of Clarivate (2020 JCI) in the latest JCR report (see enclosed file) they are ranked pretty low.

They are indeed indexed in PubMed but even though they are a medicine-oriented journal they are not indexed in Medline. See for more replies: https://www.researchgate.net/post/Cureus-publications-Worth-it-or-just-a-waste-of-time
