I dont have access to the needed enzymes for CF hydrolysis, so I'm wondering whether I can do the hydrolysis solely with the use of acids?
Has it ever been done before?

Hi;
Corn fiber can be hydrolyzed with sulfuric acid (1N) at 35 °C. The hydrolysis proceeds readily with the formation of xylose, arabinose and galactose. Please see the link below:
