Consider, 4 research paper with different methodologies to prioritize genes. Combining these methods to single pipeline, can we call it as a "novel method" as together they can not be found in any other paper

@Farid. I think you did not understand my question. I am not comparing the methodologies for a review. Useful steps from each article is combined to make a new one.

No. you are mistaken. I have some data sets and I want to analyze it using an integrated method. If I am applying methodologies from multiple paper will it be novel methodology
