CETSCALE was tested in the 1990s which suggested it was valid and reliable. And it continues to crop up in research, but its empirical validity seems under-tested.
CETSCALE has to be a useful scale, but I am not sure about the empirical measurement of it, because it, not only depends on a highest range of variables, but also its variables has dependency to a combination sum up of the psychological, anthropological, and geographical factores; as a result, examining each single case or other qualitative research styles in this context would be more accurate, and sensitive.
