my friend who had shown excellent performance through out his academics being topper but after m.sc and doing job for 1 year as project assistant he decided to left the field and is going to do mba i have seen most student doing this.why this happens to this field is this not a career option .please give ur suggestion because i an on the way to build my career in this field being a boy i have many liabilities ahead so pleas guide .
it depends on individuals........being researcher you need to have a lot of patience coz in india u vl hv to work under lot of pressures. Secondly to be established it's comparative a time-taking process.......so one has to decide one's career according to one's priorities. Lastly in literatures may ppl foud research to be very interesting but once you are doing benchwork you come to know what actual research is. Thereafter you decide whether you are further interested to pursue career as a researcher ot want to go fr other options. Ultimately it's your choice that matters

HEY I'm from Pakistan n I know tonns! of people that are doing quite well in this field. As said by Smitta Shukla this field requires a lot! of patience but hey which field doesn't? BDW I'm gonna do my M.S in Biotech n I say thumbs up to u :)
I like the comments of respected Smitta shukla and also that of shrdyeya Ghiona abbas. However the time has come particularly in the period when commercialization is deemed a virtue over the science and the scientific research. Do you intend to that devotion of the scientists that led them to work and through all odds and on 'oil of their unsung endeavor the industrialists and the commercial giants happily burn their lamps. There must be some ways so that the scientists should have some respite of the economic hurdles that they face.
