ATP energy-storing molecule as is no doubt an efficient! as not only it is used as energy storage and provider in all forms of life and has probably been around for billions of years. Even in the time period when the last universal common ancestor of all life roamed the planet. However, can there be something better? as in, can we synthetically create a better molecule? will the cell accept this new molecule? or is ATP the dead-end or the ultimate evolutionary answer to energy provision and storage.
Creatine phosphate is more of a storage form of energy than ATP.

isint creatine phosphate is mainly used by muscle and brain neural Cells to quickly replenish the amount of ATP which is then required for cellular processes?
My question pertains more towards the aspect that can some chemical be artificiality created that can some surpass ATP and creatine phosphate (as you added) that can provide even higher energy output?

Excess ATP is in equilibrium (storage firm) with creatine phosphate, Shen needed, that is transefrred back ti ADP to make ATP agian. The creatine sold by nutrition products is pure BS. It does not drive more ATP stored energy to be stored as creatine phosphate. Great for sales and muscle heads. Thermodynamically and biochemical wise it is nonsense.
