Dear Colleagues

Our institute, Bay Zoltan Nonprofit Ltd. for Applied Research (www.bayzoltan.hu) with a history of 20 years in the field of applied (industrial) research (established in 1992 after the example of the Fraunhofer Institute network) has gone through considerable renewal in the past two years. (Zoltan Bay was an eminent Hungarian physicist obtaining the first radar echo from the moon during the 2nd World War).

Taking into account that in the era of Horizon 2020 EU projects will become dominant in our activity, we plan to grow further both in terms of personnel and in terms of topics pursued. The company has now institutes in Budapest, Miskolc and Szeged (and some further laboratories at other Hungarian cities). The Budapest facilities accommodate more institutes: Institute for Materials Science and Technology (BAY-ATI) and the Institute for Infocommunication Technologies. The Institute for Materials Science has two departments: Department of Laser Technology and my department, the Department of Advanced Materials and Processes.

We are looking for potential strategic partners of both academic and industrial background interested in cooperating with us in the following fields:

- polymer based composite development for powder injection molding

- PIM/MIM/CIM technology development mostly for special purposes (smaller parts, electric or magnetic or other special ceramics)

- other engineering ceramics processing technologies (such as slip casting, gel casting, sol-gel, electrospinning, ceramic precursor polymers etc.)

- electrochemical coating/deposition technologies

and much more …

I am looking for partners who are ready to discuss joint development project, possibly joint EU projects with us.
