Many patients have nonspecific symptoms like of cystitis/headache/ limbpain etc. have incidentally have eosinoplillia in routine blood picture and improved by DEC . commonly trade name as hetrazan.
Due to some unknown allergic causes Eosinophils can be elevated. It is difficult to find exact cause of eosinophilia in some cases. If AEC is high more than 500 then we can give hetrazan for 21 days.
as dr nayyar suggest we used to follow same protocol, but we don't get any clear reference that at how much level of eosinophill we have to start hetrazan , if we have no exact etiology for that.kindly suggest reference .thank you.
