Dear all,

In the the book "Radar systems analysis and design using matlab" and in the book "Introduction to radar systems" it is mentioned that the peak value of the ambiguity function is (2E)^2, where E is the energy of the signal.

I could understand why it is (2E)^2 and not (E)^2! since the peak is equal to the square of the maximum value of autocorrelation function which is E.
