I am seeking for some opinions on the course.
1. Is it possible to qualify for the certificate in 5-6 months if one is able to spend 1-2 hrs per day?
2. Is it necessary to have a high-level computer to opt for the course? I guess they may offer a remote desktop facility.
3. I have a basic level of Linux knowledge. Is it required in pro-level to opt for the course?
4. The course offers to learn bioconductor and R for the NGS analysis. How well one can handle a real life RNA-seq data and ChIP-seq data once h/she have earned the course certificate (regardless of different learning capacities of individuals)?
5. Any other portals (if someone can suggest) to learn the things.
Dear Anirban, I also followed that course, I can suggest you to flank the course to real-life experience maybe directly with your own data, otherwise you will forgot everything really quickly! ;)
2.you don't need a powerful pc, you will do easy computation. More complex one are usually performed on clusters
3.no it's fine, is everything about R

Dear Michele,
EDX is seemed to be a prerequisite for me. It offers application of R for analyzing changes in the gene expression. This is what I want to learn must. Thanks for your suggestion. I will opt for this asap.
